Me and my Steve!

My personal section wouldn't be complete if I didn't have a picture and some info about my wonderful husband!

Steve and I originally met on Darkstar BBS (long since defunct) back in 1995 while students at Iowa State University. We eventually met in person, hung out a few times and became good friends. Unfortunately, we lost touch during our last couple of years at ISU. Steve and I both graduated in 1998. After a long hiatus, Steve reconnected with me on the internet in January 1999. We started talking over the 'net and began rebuilding our friendship. Little did we know, that friendship would turn into love. After many trips and long phone calls, I proposed to Steve on August 25th, 2000. He accepted, and we started planning our wedding (despite encountering some major bumps along the way!) After a nearly 2 year engagement, Steve and I were joined in marriage in June 2002, in Omaha, NE. It was a beautiful summer day - perfect for a wedding.
